11 out of 14 Battalion bulls sold to a top of $12,000 (Lot 1) to average $5545
Lot 1 went to a great home in Newcomen Herefords and a massive positive to take from today is Bomber will now go into collection for export to New Zealand plus local sales.
To have the stands almost full and cars everywhere we feel very encouraged and excited for the years to come.
So proud to see our genetics arrive in Ireland and that our small herd made an impression on the astute Irish breeders we had visit. We hope this is one of many Battalion bulls to go global...🌏️ Battalion Frontier M015

Our Latest purchases from the Bowmont Dispersal have arrived home and they are everything we had hoped for. Big strong females that should hopefully continue to provide us with added thickness whilst maintaining a decent frame and sound structure. Very exciting times ahead! Lot 53 - Bowmont Queen H024, Lot - 204 Bowmont Queen H043, Lot 218 - Bowmont Queen F024.
A very big thank you to the representatives from the Irish Herefords Society Eric Humphreys, Liam Philpott, Glen Jacob, Coop Geelan & Willie Branagan for taking the time to visit our stud. We really appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again.
Courallie Monica HH1J541 purchased at the Courallie dispersal for $8000.
We felt she was a stand out on the day and presented as an extremely feminine young cow. She is just over 3 years old, the proof of her milking ability is in the very impressive heavy heifer calf at foot. Monica J541 has an udder as good as you will find. After a successful flush today to the $52,000 Glendan Park Knockout sire we have high hopes for this cow, and are confident she will produce some top end progeny to take us in to the years to come.
Purchased by Franco & Thornleigh Hereford Studs $45,000 at the Glen Innes Bull Sale 2016. Record breaking top price (previously held by Cara Park $30,000 2015) Junior Champion Bull, Grand Champion Bull and Most Successful Exhibiting Stud.
Presenting our 50% share in Franco Corisande E801. She will become one of the lead donor cows for both Battalion and Franco studs in the future. She is the dam of the very exciting young calf Franco Legend LMHL622 who will be retained at stud.
